About Us
Ullswater Sailing School is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre owned and operated by the award winning Ullswater Yacht Club. From April to October, we offer a full range of courses and taster sessions all taught by RYA qualified instructors in a wonderfully scenic and safe environment.
Ullswater Sailing School runs courses to suit all ages and experiences - whether you are a complete novice, a family learning together, or an accomplished sailor who wishes to polish your skills with race coaching. We offer both RYA syllabus courses and tailor-made courses and taster sessions to suit your needs and time. We are inspected and accredited by the RYA, whose courses and qualifications are internationally recognised.
We have a superb fleet of boats to suit all ages and experience levels including Fusions, Toppers, Picos, Fevas, Bahias and Laser Stratos. Our programme runs from April until October with training available most weekdays and weekends. Powerboat training, dinghy and paddleboard hire is available too.
