RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing

Course Description
This course will help you to gain more confidence and will build on the experience you have already gained. You will enhance your skills and develop techniques with a range of tasters from the RYA advanced sailing modules. The course will be run with a coaching style and so the exact content of the course will be designed around your needs and interests. The course will be taught by professional RYA instructors in a friendly and practical manner

RYA Level 3 - Better Sailing

 Next Steps  The best way to develop your skills further is to get as much experience as possible in a variety of conditions. Your instructor will be able to give you advice on how to do this and can also give you more information about the advanced modules.

On completion of the level 3 course you will be more confident in your sailing skills and be able to use an increased range of techniques. You'll be a competent sailor in most conditions and be able to enjoy the freedom and beautiful scenery Ullswater provides. You will be ready to progress onto learning the specific skills offered in the advanced modules of the RYA Sailing Scheme..

Course Duration - Minimum 2 days or spread over 16 hours

Minimum Age - 16 years

Previous Experience - This course is the next step for those who have completed an RYA level 2 course or who are able to sail to level 2 standard.
